The first edition of the new edition of “Schlag den Besten” is already something special.

Cologne – On February 24, 2024 the time has come: RTL is bringing the popular game show “Schlag den Besten” back to the screens.
The first episode (already available on RTL+) promises action and surprises right from the start.
Elton (52) moderates the spectacle.
But a bad incident occurs.
Due to injury: Elena Miras and Hilde Gerg make their own rules in “Schlag den Besten”.
Reality actress Elena Miras (31) and former ski racer Hilde Gerg (48) face each other in a duel.
The candidates have to squeeze out tubes of different sizes and contents, from ketchup to putty.
Whoever can produce the lighter tube in ten seconds wins the respective sub-round.
However, Elena Miras goes into the duel injured.
The Swiss woman cut her thumb while cutting pumpkin and had to get stitches.

Despite the injury, Miras gives everything against her opponent Gerg - with bad consequences: the wound reopens and she has to take a break temporarily to receive medical help.
She is escorted out of the studio in tears and in great pain.
However, after her bandage has been replaced, she returns determined.
The duel finally takes an unexpected turn when, at Elton's suggestion, both candidates agree on a rule change so that Miras can continue the game.
From now on both of them only press with one hand.
This is how the new edition of “Schlag den Besten” works
In the new edition of “Schlag den Besten”, eleven prominent candidates compete against each other in ten games in a total of four shows.
The winner of each duel remains in the race and challenges the next star.
The winners earn 10,000 euros with each challenge.
They can then decide whether to continue or take the money home.
If the winner quits, celebrities who have already been eliminated can also come back.

In contrast to the original show “Beat the Star”, in this version it is not normal citizens, but rather stars who compete against each other.
In addition to Elena Miras and Hilde Gerg, other well-known personalities are taking on the challenge, including circus artist René Casselly (27), singer Lucas Cordalis (56), former handball player Pascal Hens (43), ex-Bachelor Paul Janke (42), Reality -Star Calvin Kleinen (31), model and trans activist Benjamin Melzer (37), artist Lili Paul-Roncalli (25), reality star Adriano Salvaggio and “Unter Uns” actor Timothy Boldt (33).
