Even though the dog had an owner, she ended up in the Bamberg animal shelter completely neglected.

The three-year-old animal is now being cared for there.

Bamberg - “She is three years old and, unbelievably but true, has had a permanent owner for the last few years.” This is what the Bamberg animal shelter writes about photos of the bulldog on Facebook.

She was given there “because she smells so bad.” No wonder for the animal shelter, because she has mites all over her body, so she hardly has any fur left.

The four-legged friend also has severely infected ears.

Every time you clean her she screams in pain.

The dog's suffering can be seen.

Dog screams in pain: animal shelter shows terrible photos - and appeals

During the latest examination, the suspicion arose that she had a festering uterus.

The vet will now clarify whether an emergency operation is necessary.

“Why are we showing you these pictures now?

To raise your awareness: severely neglected animals are increasingly being handed over to us.

We ourselves also know that keeping animals is becoming more and more expensive, so we appeal to you: please think carefully about whether you can afford an animal with all the consequences or take out insurance straight away.”

The animal shelter also asks friends and neighbors to keep their eyes open and speak to the owners if the animals are in such a condition.

At least the dog is now at least with them in the animal shelter so that she can be helped to get rid of the constant pain.

“But even for us, such a sight is almost unbearable and the costs that we incur increase with every further examination.”

The dog is in pain.
