The new Neuching local councilor Corinna Aulehner (FWG/41) was sworn in.

Neuching

– The Neuching local council has a new member: After Markus Reicheneder left due to the move, Corinna Aulehner took over.

She has now been sworn in and is now sitting on the committee for the FWG.

This means the proportion of women has doubled; previously Beatrix Ertl (CSU) was alone.

The 41-year-old Aulehner was surprised when she got a call from Reicheneder two months ago: “I didn't expect him to stop.” The decision to be available as a replacement was made quickly.

Otherwise it shouldn't have been set up in the first place, said the local councilor.

She found the first session exciting: “I've never done anything like this before, I first had to get to know all the processes.” Studying templates, getting to know programs, understanding connections - all of this is a lot of work: “But I want to do it with full effort “Grab strength and look forward to the tasks.”

Aulehner does not have a specific focus in mind.

She also took over the position of environmental officer for Reicheneder and said: “If a topic comes up on the agenda, I will certainly work more intensively on it.” In general, however, she wants to make decisions to the best of her knowledge and belief in the interests of the citizens.

What was also important to them in advance was that there was no compulsory faction in the Neuching local council and that everyone was allowed to vote for themselves.

The 41-year-old is a teacher at the Anne Frank High School in Erding.

She has three children, one of whom is currently attending kindergarten in Neuching: “So I’m pretty well versed in this topic,” says Aulehner.

It is clear to her that she can never please everyone in her work as a local councilor.

Nevertheless, the joy is great.

After the first meeting, she felt well received by the committee.

As a native of Neuching, she has known all the other members for years: “I can talk to everyone well, we get along.” In addition to her position as environmental officer, she will also be represented on the building committee in the future.
