The police were alerted on Monday afternoon because of a person in need of help.
However, on site the man turned out to be extremely aggressive.
Peißenberg -
On Monday afternoon around 3 p.m., a 56-year-old from Peißenberg reported to the police station in Weilheim and informed the police about an apparently helpless person.
The man from Peißenberg explained that he had found the man lying behind a bush on Max-Plank-Strasse.
When the officers arrived on site, they initially found that the man, a 46-year-old Ukrainian, was not injured, but was heavily intoxicated.
It was decided to take the man to his accommodation and for further clarification, the emergency services were called in and the man was given first aid and covered by the officers, according to the police report.
The 46-year-old, who lives in the district, pointed to his heart several times.
Man suddenly hits police officers with crutch
When the officers leaned towards him to understand him better, he suddenly hit one of his crutches in the direction of the officers and tried to get up.
In order to prevent further attacks, the Ukrainian was brought to the ground by the police.
Nevertheless, the man managed to punch one of the officers in the face and elbow the other in the stomach.
One of the police officers also injured his foot during the altercation, according to the police report.
After the emergency services could not determine that the man needed treatment and because of his continued aggressive nature, he was now taken into custody by the officers deployed.
Even when the man was ultimately taken to the cell to sober up during the Weilheim inspection, he continued to be highly aggressive, according to the police.
Spit in the policeman's face several times
After a doctor determined that the 46-year-old was fit for detention and the man was taken to the cell, he spat several times in the face of one of the officers.
Because of possible TB disease, blood was taken from both the aggressor and the officer who was spat on.
During the entire operation, all officers were massively insulted by the man.
In addition to charges of resisting law enforcement officers and assault, the man will also have to answer for numerous other crimes.
Fortunately, the officers deployed only suffered minor injuries and are still fit for duty.
