Vandalism on the TSV Moorenweis football field: Unknown people drove a car across the lawn on Monday night and left deep furrows.
The damage is considerable.
Moorenweis – “Someone must have confused our place with the Paris – Dakar race track,” said second football board member Andreas Otter.
But he didn't really feel like joking.
Because the kickers' running was seriously affected.
The damage is likely to be in the four-digit range.
“Right now, when the winter break is coming to an end and we need all the places for our ten teams that are playing, some hooligans are ruining our place.
A huge impudence,” says Otter.

Football treasurer Stefan Mühlpointner discovered the damaged training pitch on Monday morning.
The head of the football department, Georg Büger, has now filed a police report.
However, the chances of catching the perpetrator or perpetrators are probably slim.
It was only in December 2022 that the football field at VSST Günzlhofen was similarly devastated.
Even then, the investigations were fruitless.
The district league team is now heading off to a training camp in Croatia for five days in preparation for the start of the second half of the season.
Afterwards we will see how the seven youth teams and the three men's teams solve the space problem until the training field is playable again.
