The support withheld?
Former Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon allegedly issued a message today (Tuesday) in which he addressed the residents of Haifa demanding that they come out and vote for Yona Yahav.
"These are fateful elections for the future of the city, I call on the residents of Haifa to choose Yona Yahav - the right man, an experienced and responsible leader who is suitable to lead the city at this time," read a message published by the former minister, when only a few hours later - he came out as a window with a surprising message.
"I did not express support for Yona Yahav, I demanded that the photo be taken down immediately," he said.

The office of David Etzioni, who was Kahlon's personal assistant when he served as finance minister, said: "The fact that Yona Yahav has sunk to an unprecedented low, exploiting a friend and spreading lies as he did during the entire campaign, indicates that he is hysterical because he is going to lose in the first round."
