Three sergeants and a second lieutenant of the Buenos Aires police who worked in the seaside resort town of
Villa Gesell
were arrested this Wednesday and dismissed from the force, accused of being part of a criminal organization that protected drug sellers in exchange for money and drugs.
"Be careful, they are looking for you
," was one of the messages that the researchers detected.
According to the investigation, the accused - among other maneuvers - alerted people under investigation for crimes linked to the sale of narcotics to "take care" since they were looking for them.
The arrests were made this morning after a series of raids carried out in three police stations and private homes in the aforementioned town on the Atlantic coast by members of the National Gendarmerie (GNA).

The investigation determined that the four Buenos Aires police officers
were allegedly part of a criminal organization that protected drug sellers
in the Villa Gesell area.
"The protection work was done in exchange for money or drugs," said a police source.
It was even established through interventions in their telephone lines that also informed fugitive criminals due to drug dealing that they were being sought.

," they told those who were being investigated by justice.
Part of what was seized in the operations against four police officers who were protecting drug traffickers.
In addition, wiretapping between police and a detainee who continued to lead an organization from prison,

Sources from the General Auditor of Internal Affairs (AGAI) of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security confirmed that the four officers were immediately removed from the force and that an administrative summary was initiated against them that is in the full investigation stage by auditor Mariano Santana.
In the next few hours, the four defendants will be transferred to be investigated, while it is investigated whether there are more people involved in the organization.
