William ended up in the Hattersheim animal shelter again.
He is not to blame for this.

William ended up in the Hattersheim animal shelter for the second time.
The older man didn't have an easy life - but he deserved a new chance.
Hattersheim – He is unhappy, that quickly becomes clear: The 12-year-old male William ended up in the Hattersheim animal shelter.
Not for the first time, as the employees at the animal shelter report on Facebook.
William doesn't seem to be happy: "It's hard to bear how much you're suffering, witnessing your grief and seeing yourself in your current state," the post says.
William makes his sadness clear primarily through constant whining.
Apparently he urgently wants a new home, interpret the animal rights activists.
This time for good, because William had already returned to the animal shelter once.

William originally ended up there because his owners could no longer properly care for him.
Even back then he was “frighteningly overweight” and even his ability to walk was limited.
In addition, William was already struggling with all sorts of other health problems that had hardly been treated: an underactive thyroid and the hormonal disease Chushing.
But he blossomed a little in the animal shelter: with the right medication and careful exercise, he was able to reduce his weight.
A new home was also found, but the joy about it only lasted for a short time.
“Unfortunately, love for animals is sometimes implemented incorrectly and people do not understand how important it is to have the right diet and regular exercise appropriate to your weight,” the animal shelter employees wrote to William.
Now he's back, more overweight than ever before.
A return happens from time to time, but rarely.
A similar thing happened to Mate, a livestock guard dog who unfortunately didn't get along with the cat in his new home.
Now, however, William returned in significantly worse condition: at times he was almost unable to walk and he kept falling over to the side.
This “brought tears to the eyes of the employees”.
Given the right conditions, William could recover
But it turns out that with the right handling, his health improves.
William is currently doing a little better at the animal shelter.
However, longer walks are not possible - and according to the animal shelter, they probably won't be anymore.
Despite William's old age and problems, the animal shelter hopes to find a new home for the old man.
The costs of medical care should not play a role - because the animal shelter wants to cover that.
What is still important, however, is a ground floor home or one with an elevator.
William doesn't like male dogs, but he could get along with female dogs.
