Summary.
Alice is 16 when she meets Henry.
He is 15 years older than her, and he is the older brother of one of her friends.
Alice is quickly impressed by his charisma, but also by the intensity with which he lives his Catholic faith, and 4 years later, they get married.
But once married, things change: Henry is very angry, and cannot stand Alice engaging in activities he considers superfluous.
Over the years, the couple had 7 children, and Alice stayed at home to care for them.
Henry is more and more violent with her, and with the children.
Alice tells her story on Ambre Rosala's microphone.
She also wrote an autobiographical book, “Women, be submissive to your husbands”, published by Larousse.
