ProSieben presented its latest primetime show “Who eats?” on Tuesday evening (February 27th).

But the concept fell through with the audience.

Cologne - ProSieben had touted the new quiz show "Who eats?" in advance as "surprising", "funny" and "refreshingly bizarre", but this description didn't really fit with what TV viewers were seeing on Tuesday evening (27 February) was offered.

Because the format penned by British comedy legend James Corden (45) probably doesn't really take off in this country.

“Who eats?” with Steven Gätjen was severely punished by ProSieben viewers

A number of X users agreed with the critical verdict: “I'll give the show one more broadcast and then it'll be canceled.

What rubbish," complained one, while another criticized: "Let's be honest: the show is boring.

The person in charge of the program must have noticed that during rehearsals, right?" Some viewers, however, judged that the show was "not bearable for a second" and would be better placed "in the afternoon program".

“Who eats?” boasted well-known stars, but the new ProSieben format wasn’t really convincing.

Nevertheless, ProSieben was able to win over at least parts of the young audience: According to

dwdl.de,

a total of 550,000 viewers tuned in in the relevant target group of 14 to 49 year olds, which is so important for private broadcasters.

This gave Gätjen and Co. a solid market share of 11.3 percent.

Innovations in TV have also recently brought criticism from the broadcaster competition: many RTL viewers don't like the new "Let's Dance" studio at all.
