For this eighth season of “Married at First Sight”, the conditions remain the same for the candidates for love: their first meeting with their potential soul mate must take place on their wedding day.
Last year, of the seven couples formed, none are still together today.
Of all the seven editions broadcast on M6 since 2016, only Laure and Matthieu (season 5) as well as Pauline and Damien (season 6) are still married.

What do we know about the new season of “Married at First Sight”?
On the one hand, the wedding ceremonies will once again take place in Gibraltar, as in the last three editions.
On the other hand, the experts will always be the sexologist Gilbert Bou Jaoudé and the clinical psychologist Estelle Dossin.
As for the candidates, selected from 30,000 applications, M6 assures that they will be real heroes.
“Heroes of love, resilience, life, letting go
,” says the channel.
This new season is the season of crushes, madness, poker moves but also hard times... because a single person will say no to the wedding ceremony.
