A 'clockwork orange' style attack: in the Caserta area, an 18-year-old was hit with kicks, punches, dragged by his hair into a car and then abandoned on the side of the road.
Four were arrested for the violence carried out on the night between 21 and 22 February in Macerata Campania.
They are all aged between 20 and 25.

It was an episode of abnormal and senseless violence, therefore, that reconstructed by the investigation by the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Public Prosecutor's Office and the Carabinieri;
following the beating, the victim suffered a dislocated fracture of the nasal septum and other wounds and bruises on his body.
The provision was issued by the investigating judge of the San Marino court for the crimes of aggravated personal injury, private violence and kidnapping (one suspect ended up in prison, three under house arrest).
Almost everyone from Macerata is the protagonist of the story, from the victim to three of the attackers, while a fourth lives in Marcianise.
Therefore the attackers and the victim knew each other, they had some pending issues, but the carabinieri of the Company of Santa Maria Capua Vetere ascertained that they were of little importance.
The fact is that from what the victim told, and then found by the military personnel, the 18-year-old was in the company of some friends on the street in Caturano, a hamlet of Macerata Campania, when the four attackers suddenly arrived by car, got out and they took him from behind;
it was a real beating, with the victim who, due to punches and kicks on the face, suffered a broken nasal septum, then was dragged by his hair into the car, and then abandoned on the side of the road after a few kilometres.
The newly adult, suffering and bloodied, went to hospital and then reported the four attackers to the police;
The videos taken from the video surveillance cameras in Piazza De Michele, where the beating took place, were decisive, as well as the wiretaps and analysis of the telephone records of the suspects.
