“Miesbach against right-wing extremism – for diversity, tolerance and democracy”: This is the motto of a demonstration in Miesbach.
More than 30 organizations join.
Miesbach
– “Democracy only works together,” writes the Haindlkeller team in Miesbach on its Instagram channel.
The attached poster with all supporters of the “Miesbach against right-wing extremism - for diversity, tolerance and democracy” rally on Saturday, March 2nd shows that this call has not gone unanswered.
Whether it's the Alpine Association, the Nature Conservation Association, Weltladen, Wirkstatt Oberland, Amnesty International, the Child Protection Association, the Rotary and Lions Club, the adult education center, the parishes or the city council groups: a total of 32 logos adorn the flyer that calls for participation in the demo.
Rally, march through Miesbach and band performance
From 4 p.m., the organizers of the Eigeninitiativ association want to send a clear signal for democracy as the sponsor of the cultural center at the golden park bench on the market square.
According to the announcement, Johanna Löffl (Eigenitiativ Association), Lisa Hilbich (Miesbach History Workshop) and Max Niedermeier (district integration officer) will speak at the rally.
Mayor Gerhard Braunmiller was also asked to speak.
The demonstrators will then move across Rathausstrasse and Frühlingsstrasse as well as the town square to Waitzinger Park, where the band Bieramiden will rock on stage.
If you want to make yourself available as a folder, you can register by email to kulturhaus@goldene-parkbank.de or by sending an Instagram message to Haindlkeller.
