After the attack on two children in Duisburg, the police assume that the attacker was a lone perpetrator.
There is still no reliable information about the age of the victims; they vary between 9 and 14 years, said a police spokeswoman in Duisburg on Wednesday.
The investigators still did not provide any information about the murder weapon.
A 21-year-old suspect was arrested.
