The notification that
the Ayuso effect
extends to Europe reaches the Madrid Assembly on February 21.
“I inform you that the Hon.
Madam President of the Community of Madrid will not be able to attend the Plenary Session of the Assembly on March 7, 2024, because she is outside of Spain,” reads a document sent to Parliament that EL PAÍS accessed.
Thus, while the opposition supervises the autonomous government, its president will be in Bucharest (Romania), where the European PP holds its congress next week, as detailed in the baroness' team.
It's not just any thing.
First, because it arouses criticism from the opposition.
Second, because the government justifies that the president does not return in time to go to the plenary session on Thursday, despite the fact that her intervention is in principle on Wednesday, with some “institutional meetings” of which the nature or attendees are not specified because “the agenda is still It is closing.”
And third, because at the door of the European elections in June, Isabel Díaz Ayuso will intervene in a conclave in which none of the other ten presidents of the PP will be present, except for last-minute changes.
