In Tel Aviv, three candidates ran for mayor, namely Huldai, Barbai and Yuval Zellner.
Barbiei, a former Knesset member from Yesh Atid, announced her candidacy for the position in June of last year, and resigned from the Knesset as a result.
In his election campaign Huldai included the person who was his opponent in the previous elections, former member of the Knesset Assaf Zamir, who will serve as number 2, and perhaps even be the man who will succeed him the day he decides to retire.
After the addition of Zamir, he officially opened the campaign: "Tel Aviv must remain Tel Aviv".
