For many people, hiking is simply part of their vacation - how about great routes in the Dolomites?

Here is a small overview of possible routes.

Have you tried out many hiking trails and explored the lakes in Germany?

How about thinking outside the box: whether you want to take a leisurely hike from hut to hut or undertake an adventurous, challenging summit tour – in the Dolomites you can combine both.

Do you need inspiration for your next tour?

Below you will find a selection of some routes.

Do you want to improve slowly?

Then take the circular route around Lake Toblach at the entrance to the Hohlensteintal.

There you can combine a short hike with a nature course.

In 2000, a nature trail with eleven stations was set up around the lake.

There you will learn something about flora and fauna - which is also exciting for your children.

With a distance of three kilometers and a difference in altitude of ten meters, the round is completed in around an hour.

You can extend your stay at the lake with refreshment stops.

You can also look forward to a panoramic platform with lake views and a small beach.

If you are traveling by car, you will have to pay parking costs.

Hiking tour: circumnavigation of the Three Peaks

.

You should be sure-footed and have good basic fitness.

As you walk around you will look at the world-famous landmark of the Dolomites.

The tour takes you from the Auronzohütte (2,320 m) over the Paternsattel (2,454 m) to the Rienzursprung, which is located directly at the Langalm (2,235 m).

From there we go back to the Auronzo hut.

Difficult hike in the Dolomites: Hut hike through the Sesto Dolomites

Would you like to put your fitness to the test and are not afraid of 1,120 meters in altitude?

Then go on a day hike through the Sesto Dolomites.

You will cover around 18 kilometers.

You start at the Fischleintalboden and go to your first stop, the valley end hut.

Then you walk almost six kilometers and stop at the Zsigmondyhütte, which is located at an altitude of 2,224 meters.

The next station is a good eight kilometers away, where the Büllejochhütte is waiting for you.

The hut is located below the summit of the Oberbachernspitze in the Zinnen Nature Park.

From there it goes around eleven kilometers to the Rifugio Antonio Locatelli.

This is the end, your next stop is the starting point again.

This hike is classified as difficult; you should be in very good physical condition and sure-footed.
