The Kochler Heimatbühne is now closed to major events for fire safety reasons.
The community announced this on Wednesday afternoon.
Kochel am See - Major events - such as the Tölzer Kurier panel discussion on the mayoral election in mid-December - are now no longer possible at the Kochler Heimatbühne.
Due to fire safety regulations, the community of Kochel am See announced on Wednesday afternoon that the home stage is currently not allowed to be used for large events.
According to Mayor Jens Müller, the sticking point is the aging ventilation system, which also functions as heating.

There are no longer any spare parts for the system
“No tradesman dares to approach the system anymore, and there are no more spare parts available,” Müller is quoted in the statement.
The municipal building authority is currently clarifying with the district office how full operations can be resumed as soon as possible.
Because it is important not to let the planned events in spring fall through.
By the way, says Müller, you now have to calculate how much it will cost to renovate the event hall.
The local council did think about the future of the local theater last year.
“But no one expected that it would become urgent so quickly.”
