"Too many requests for authorizations for renewable plants end up clogging up the offices and slowing down the timescales. More stringent steps could be established for concessions, or charges or concession fees could be raised."
This was said by the president of Coordinamento Free, an association for the promotion of renewables, Attilio Piattelli, at the Key Energy Summit at the Key renewables fair in Rimini.
For Piattelli "renewables don't need incentives, and storage is falling in price. We're not late on wind, but we need a regulatory framework. On solar, however, we missed the boat".
