Not all of the fifty or so tenants can enter the small premises of the Dame-Blanche-Nord association on Saturday afternoon.
Most of them stay outside for the small party of C'ton Droit, an association of neighborhood tenants affiliated with the CGL (General Housing Confederation), created in 2015. The aim was to celebrate the regularization of charges in their favor, which amounts to 428,000 euros.
“This day is yours, it’s the day of recognition of your rights!
» Michel Fréchet, the national president of the CGL, made the trip to mark the event.
The decision of Immobilière 3F for this disadvantaged district of Garges-lès-Gonesse, affected by a vast urban renewal operation, dates back to January 30, when it presented its calculation: nearly 290,000 euros for corrections of years 2020 and 2021, and nearly 136,000 euros for the following year, or more than 428,000 euros, counting what has already been reimbursed.
