Neufahrn Mayor Heilmeier describes the signing of the basic agreement for the Green Campus as an “important step towards commitment”.

The press release that the municipality published after the joint signing date with the asto Group from Gilching speaks of “a significant step towards innovation and sustainability for Neufahrn”.
By signing a basic agreement, both sides “are laying the foundation for the ONE High Tech Green Campus Neufahrn”.
Heilmeier: asto-Group is a partner that has a good network
But it probably wasn't that easy to get the autographs.
“We did a few rounds to reach a common formulation of compatibility,” city hall boss Franz Heilmeier revealed to the council.
Now he is happy to have found a partner in the asto Group who has a good network and can therefore realize the settlements on the campus.
Looking ahead, he pointed to the project’s potential to “contribute to strengthening innovative strength in the region and beyond”.
The local council had spoken across all factions in favor of the development of the ecologically model and technologically influenced high-tech campus on an approximately twelve hectare commercial area south of Römerstrasse in the Mintraching district.
The development concept pursued by the asto Group for the ONE High Tech Green Campus Neufahrn envisages a “synergetic mix of research, training, office, laboratory, test and production areas with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) in cooperation with the TUM and the Free State of Bavaria as a link between the research institutions in Weihenstephan and Garching,” as the press release continues.
Campus focuses on combining the world of work and quality of life
“The integration of science and business is intended to promote innovation and create sustainable jobs,” confirmed Philipp Graf von Baudissin, Head of Development of the asto Group and Managing Director of the ONE High Tech Green Campus.
According to Bernd Schulte-Middelich, founder and partner of the asto Group, the campus relies on a combination of the working world and quality of stay, sustainable construction and options for flexible and adaptive use.
“The ONE High Tech Green Campus wants to create an innovative and creative environment for research and development that relies on a diverse use of space and enables fruitful collaboration between science and business,” explains Philipp Graf von Baudissin.
A mobility concept with S-Bahn and bus connections is also planned
The planned concept includes spacious green areas, the supply of renewable energies and a mobility concept with S-Bahn and bus connections as well as pedestrian and cycle path connections.
In addition, leisure and sports facilities, childcare options, student housing and a boarding house are to be integrated on the campus.
