Now it's official: media woman Miri Michaeli is joining i24NEWS and will present the daily main edition of the new news channel.
Michaeli previously served as a reporter for News 10, first for health affairs and foreign news, and later as the news company's correspondent for Europe.
In 2017, she moved to Keshet and joined the team of the program "Morning News with Niv Raskin", wrote articles for the program "People" and presented current affairs programs.
In December 2020, she returned to "Network 13", presented news and election transmitters of the news company, the program "Before the News" at seven in the evening and later the morning program.
In the past year, Michaeli led, alongside strategic advisor Moshe Klugeft, a "pro-Israel outreach project" - Act - which later became a "news project".
Since October 7, the project has produced informational videos that have received tens of millions of views worldwide.
i24NEWS in Hebrew will be a commercial channel based on advertisements, and as long as there is no change in legislation, it will be available in Israel only via streaming.
The person who will serve as the editor-in-chief of the channel is Israel Tuito, who previously served as the CEO of News 13.

the owner of the i24NEWS network, Patrick Darhi, is also the controlling owner of the HOT company and is considered close to Netanyahu. The cross-ownership law does prohibit cable and satellite license holders from owning a news channel. , but in 2017 legislation was passed in the Knesset which allowed him to own a TV channel, provided that it was in a foreign language.
i24NEWS is expected to go on the air in the coming months on the Hot streaming platform, and these days the recruitments for the launch are continuing. In the last two months, the company has been trying to recruit employees from the commercial channels, hence 11, but it is true So far, the channel has not been able to bring in "top-notch" talent.
At the same time, i24NEWS continues to staff the senior editorial board: in recent weeks, it was announced in Walla!
