A 36-year-old broke into a shop at Munich's Ostbahnhof on the night of February 26th to 27th.

During a break-in at a shop at Ostbahnhof, a 36-year-old tried to loot the cash register.
But he did the math without including a 67-year-old building cleaner.
Munich - It was around 1:30 a.m. on the night of February 26th to 27th when a 36-year-old broke into a shop at Munich's Ostbahnhof.
He easily got into the store through the unlocked sliding door and then tried to open the cash register.
However, the noise alerted a 67-year-old who was cleaning the shop to the intruder.
After he caught the man in the act, he confronted him.
However, the burglar was able to escape through the back door.
However, he didn't get very far and was caught by federal police officers who had been alerted in the meantime.

Munich Ostbahnhof: Cleaning worker catches burglar in the act
For further processing, the officers took the 36-year-old, who according to police information is a man with no fixed address, to the station at Ostbahnhof.
The man's nationality could not yet be determined.
After completing all measures, the burglar was released.
Investigations into an attempted particularly serious case of theft and trespassing were initiated.
