The photovoltaic sector in Italy "needs management that helps in the correct localization of the plants. Those who invest should know where there is a need for electricity and where it is best to invest. However, today this does not happen. So questions are being asked everywhere, causing the virtual saturation of the networks (when Terna no longer accepts new applications for systems because the applications under consideration already cover the capacity of the network)".
The president of Italia Solare, the association of photovoltaic companies, Paolo RoccoViscontini, said this at the Key Energy Summit at the Key renewables fair in Rimini.
