“This afternoon, all eyes will be on the Senate.
The breath will be held and I hope that we will be able to take a deep breath during the day and say to ourselves that we have allowed the French to protect a right which is undermined in too many countries.
We must remain mobilized and vigilant about this vote,” she told the press after the Council of Ministers.

The government spokesperson affirmed that “Congress could meet next week”, “depending on the result of the vote” in the Senate, without specifying the date.
