The president of the United States, Joe Biden, continues "in shape to carry out his duties", without significant changes in his health at 81 years old, his doctor said this Wednesday after an annual general check-up.
"He remains fit to perform his duties and fully executes all of his responsibilities, without exemptions or accommodations," said White House physician Kevin O'Connor.
After the examination, performed by White House doctor Kevin O'Connor, Biden joked to the press about the results.
"They said I look very young," the president said, adding that the exam went the same as last year.
White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre also announced that the doctor was satisfied with the results.
Joe Biden said his checkup came out the same as last year.

"The president does not need a cognitive test. And this is not my opinion, it is the opinion of his doctor and that of his neurologist. (...) He undergoes a cognitive test every day, when moving from one topic to another" , he said at a press conference.
Jean-Pierre insisted that Biden has been able to carry out his work in the last three years and stressed that "we must not forget that he is leading a historic Presidency."
Both the Republican opposition and some members of his own party have questioned the state of health of the president, who aspires to obtain the Democratic nomination for this year's presidential elections.
