– “We are still relatively at the beginning,” explained Katharina Hugl and Alex Werner.

The two Farchanters want to get married in May and were in Peißenberg looking for clothes and other ideas for the celebration.

They quickly caught their eye on two simple gold rings at the stand of Heidi von Heinz, who runs “Die Goldschmiede” on Murnauer Untermarkt.

She advised the soon-to-be bride and groom and gave tips on choosing and when to buy.

Because it always makes sense to look at the gold price, which depends on world events.

Wedding dresses, suits and evening wear as well as festive dirndls were presented at the fashion show.

Simple white dresses were represented as well as sophisticated combinations in which the skirt could be easily transformed into trousers.

Jewelry, hairstyles and flowers could also be admired on stage, while two singers enchanted the audience with their skills live during the show.

Sina Hoiss from “The Wedding Dressmaker” in Murnau knew which dresses were currently in fashion.

On the one hand, many women are currently relying on glitter, but the exact opposite is also in demand with subtle models.

In general, slightly falling skirts are particularly popular.

“And for most people it’s important that it’s comfortable,” said Hoiss.

Julia Orfanides no longer needed a dress, but she was still at the fair to organize the final services for her upcoming wedding.

“I just don’t know what to do with my thin hair,” complained the woman from Hohenpeißenberg, and Barbara Hirsch was right in touch with her concerns.

The master hairdresser and make-up specialist, who is based in Polling with her natural cosmetics shop, encouraged the future bride to test her hairstyle.

After just a short time with the curling iron, comb and pins, a wreath of flowers was enthroned on the freshly styled hair and a broad grin spread across the future bride's face.

Organizer Uschi Binner-Metzner drew a satisfied conclusion on Sunday afternoon.

“We really offered something from all areas,” she explained.

“The trade fair was well attended and everyone was happy,” said Binner-Metzner, grateful for the audience’s response.

“The exhibitors were just great,” she said, praising the harmony of the traders present.

They gave their positive feedback and some have even reserved the stand for the next “Dream Wedding” on February 15th and 16th, 2025.
