Highlights: Metta reduces the political discourse and the consequences for Israeli advocacy are worrying. While Facebook blocks political content, the underground advocacy project ISRAEL SLINGSHOT is fighting anti-Semitism using advanced Australian technology. The fear is that after the implementation of the changes, the Israeli propaganda will experience a severe and significant damage. In times like these, projects like Slingshot allow us to continue spreading awareness in the world, even if it means that from now on we will have to think outside the social media box.

Meta's fateful decision that content with political affiliations will not be promoted on Instagram and Facebook endangers Israeli advocacy efforts. How is this going to affect public opinion?

While Facebook blocks political content, the underground advocacy project ISRAEL SLINGSHOT is fighting anti-Semitism using advanced Australian technology.

Although only recently we were all exposed to the concept of advocacy, and its abilities to help the country in war, but soon the way in which advocacy is done will change significantly.

Social networks will no longer be a relevant platform for political content.

This change of meta is happening at a time when Israel is in the midst of a battle for international public opinion.

The propaganda war is critical in the long term and affects the security of Jews in Israel and abroad more than any other campaign. The fear is that after the implementation of the changes, the

Israeli propaganda will experience a severe and significant damage.

Although pro-Palestinian content will not be promoted either, the Israeli narrative from the beginning occupied less volume in the international media and therefore our starting point is more complex.

The information campaigns presented on the international news sites

Hadar Ashoch, CEO of AdFreeway

explains: "The reasons why the Israeli narrative does not resonate on social media sites are varied, but mainly, the algorithms of the social networks promote emotional content with visual content that attracts the eye, and while the pro-Palestinian surfers use graphic images and harsh videos to convey the message, Until recently, Israeli advocacy mainly used logical arguments and written texts - which get the least clicks and therefore also less promotion on the networks."

A new project called ISRAEL SLINGSHOT makes use of advanced technology, takes the pro-Israeli content and campaigns and puts them in their rightful place - the biggest news sites in the world that have often been accused of anti-Semitism: Al Jazeera, the BBC, CNN and more.

The sites are selected through the use of the company's advanced algorithm, which knows how to identify where the potential target audience surfs and actively targets them.

The idea was born out of a deep understanding of the importance of the propaganda war.

The project works to spread authentic and fact-based Israeli messages to a wide international audience, using the company's advertising technologies - and in fact circumvents the ban of traditional social networks - while promoting publications on the open network, and not through social networks.

As part of the project, the information campaigns of the leading bodies in the country are uploaded to websites as advertisements designed to attract the attention of pro-Palestinian surfers, and make them see additional angles of the conflict.

Among other things, the photos of members of the Biebs family and other abductees were published, and campaigns that present the human side of IDF soldiers and their precise actions to prevent harm to those not involved in the Strip."

The battle over Israeli propaganda

The digital world is undergoing significant changes, and the battle for international public opinion is critical to the security of Israel and the Jewish people as a whole.

What would a world look like in which social networks, the place where most people spend most of the day, would be free of politics?

Will we all care less, or will the truth simply lose meaning and everyone will decide for themselves what is real?

In times like these, projects like Slingshot allow us to continue spreading awareness in the world, even if it means that from now on we will have to think outside the social media box.
