Sandra Pettovello
, over the management of funds, the Union of Workers of the Popular Economy (Utep) holds a
new demonstration
this Wednesday in front of the portfolio's headquarters.
The claim, framed in the so-called "National Ollazo for the Food Emergency", is one of the actions that Utep carries out in different parts of the country with strong criticism of Pettovello, whom they accuse of cutting
back on food shipments to the canteens.
community.
Hundreds of people mobilized on Wednesday morning to the headquarters located in Carlos Pellegrini and Juncal to denounce "the hunger of millions of families who were left with empty plates," according to the slogan with which they called the protest.
"We are going to have a day of 'ollazos' to continue insisting on the problem of the food emergency, the day will be in the Ministry of Human Capital and in all the CDRs (reference centers), which are the territorial delegations of the Ministry," stated the general secretary of the UTEP, Alejandro 'Peluca' Gramajo

"If they don't care about the hunger of millions of families who were left with empty plates, we do. We are not going to give up until
the pots are filled again
," UTEP said in a statement.
The protesters arrived at the ministry headquarters with pots and signs repeating criticism of Pettovello.
"Pettovello you don't have a heart" and
"in the end the caste is the children"
are some of the slogans they wrote on cardboard.
As part of the fight plan that this organization began last week as a protest against "the shortage of community kitchens and the lack of response from the Government," Gramajo anticipated that tomorrow or Friday they
will also mobilize at the Ministry of Economy

There, they will demand "the national government not to defund the works in popular neighborhoods" due to the budget reduction in the Fund for Socio-Urban Integration (FISU).
"We are going to mobilize with all the workers of the popular economy cooperatives that had been developing works in the popular neighborhoods," he assured.
Pettovello was at the center of the controversy in the last few hours after the confirmation of the division into two of the Empower Work program with the aim of removing intermediation from social organizations.
The Ministry of Human Capital itself will be in charge of segmenting it into two new programs - one aimed at promoting access to the labor market for beneficiaries and the other at containing the most vulnerable sectors - that would begin to operate next week.
Furthermore, through a resolution, Pettovello stopped the creation of five national universities that had been created by law.
These are the national universities of Del Delta, Pilar, Ezeiza, Río Tercero and Madres de Plaza de Mayo.
In the case of the University of Ezeiza, it has existed for some time in the orbit of the Province of Buenos Aires and the representative Victoria Tolosa Paz promoted the project so that it becomes a National University.
