Transport operators, faced with recruitment difficulties in their sector of activity in tension, have already got into the habit of organizing job-dating events in their premises: train stations and large metro stations where possible passages “candidates” are necessarily numerous.
But for professions in the medical-social sector (also in tension), employment forums in the railway sector are, in principle, much rarer.
However, it is in the heart of the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand metro station (on line 14) that the SOS Group set up its stand and posters, this Tuesday, February 27 in the morning, for three days of “job dating”.
The associative group fighting against exclusion, created in 1984 and which today manages more than 750 social establishments (Ehpad, crèches, hospitals, homes) in France, is seeking to recruit 500 new employees this year, almost half of whom are in Île-de-France.
But for positions of caregivers, nurses, childcare assistants or specialized educators which may be difficult to fill.
