"We held a consultation on Pniec six months ago, after we had published the complete draft on 4 July 2023. I said I was open to any form of consultation. Someone complained that it was done with questions to answer. Now, precisely because someone says 'let's consult again, we have opened a new one. If we then have to hold assemblies, I tell the ministry structure to hold assemblies. I am very open to it. The important thing is that the contributions arrive (from civil society to the consultation, ed.)".
The Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, said this in Rimini, commenting on yesterday's joint statement from the main environmental associations, which complained of not having been involved in the revision of the Pniec, the national energy plan.
