This Wednesday, middle school girls from the Paul-Éluard establishment in Garges-lès-Gonesse (Val-d'Oise) and high school girls from Louise-Michel de Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis) were invited to board a A350 plane for a meeting in real life with different professionals in the sector, and thus perhaps create vocations.
A visit organized by Air France and the Air Emploi association, engaged for several years in an approach aimed at increasing professional diversity in aviation professions where women remain a large minority.
There are only 9% of pilots, even fewer mechanics when they represent 46% of all employees and 66% of the flight crew of the French company.
