Three years after his notable appearance in “Le Meilleur Pâtissier”, the M 6 competition show dedicated to non-professionals, Mohamed Belkassam has just realized his dream: opening a pastry restaurant where you can taste his creations but also homemade dishes from around the world.
The establishment is called Food'Art and has just opened its doors in Asnières (Hauts-de-Seine), just outside the Les Courtilles metro station.
The opportunity to transform a space with vast volumes and make it a unique place.
“I have always liked to see things in the big picture.
It’s a bit like when I signed up for the show: it was atypical of a Mohamed who comes out of his suburbs to make little cakes,” smiles the 37-year-old pastry chef, who lives in Le Blanc-Mesnil (Seine- Saint-Denis) and that nothing predestined him to become a pastry chef.
