This Wednesday, Cristina Kirchner's defense presented challenges against a judge of the Federal Court of Criminal Cassation and against the prosecutor of that instance involved in the Roads case.
In addition, she requested that the
hearings to review her sentence be suspended
until the issues are resolved, to avoid subsequent annulments.
The former president's defense maintained that prosecutor Mario Villar presented last Monday a contradictory position with another that the Public Prosecutor's Office held in another case and that Judge Diego Barroetaveña would have advanced an opinion on this file when intervening in another, judicial sources reported.
The hearings began on Monday, a key stage in the Roads case, since the conviction received by Cristina Kirchner will be analyzed.
