Some are excited about Markus Söder's latest photo, others are making fun of it.
Another person thinks it “can’t be surpassed in terms of ridiculousness.”
Neuburg an der Donau - After Markus Söder had already shared posts from his ABBA performance in Stockholm or photos of himself in the Arctic Circle on Instagram, things are also continuing lively in Bavaria.
“Top Gun in Bavaria,” he wrote alongside a picture of himself in a fighter jet, alluding to the Tom Cruise film.

The photo was taken during a visit by the elite troops of Tactical Air Force Squadron 74 in Neuburg an der Donau (Upper Bavaria).
“They are one of the best units in the Air Force.
We are proud of our excellently trained team.
PS: Was also in the Bundeswehr myself.
But not in the Air Force, but in the Army: truck driving in the Nuremberg Transport Battalion,” continued Bavaria’s Prime Minister.
“Is that this Tom Cruise?” Söder photo hotly debated on Instagram
“Is that that Tom Cruse guy?” one person jokingly asks in the comments.
“Is this Top Gun in the Bavarian version?” is another question.
There are some film references in the comments.

“Bavaria has the Prime Minister it deserves,” commented one person ironically.
“You can't beat the ridiculousness of it,” someone doesn't hold back with their opinion.
And another Instagram user is now jokingly worried about other federal states in view of Söder in the fight: “Do Bremen and Saarland have to worry now?”
But the CSU boss can also inspire some fans with his post: “Living legend” and “doers” are just two of the positive comments.
In total, the Söder photo has already collected almost 15,000 likes after less than 24 hours, and over 300 people have commented on the post
