Eichstätt - The young man endangered numerous other road users on his wild scooter ride through the city center of Eichstätt - and was chased by the police.

The 22-year-old first attracted negative attention at the bus station on Tuesday, February 27th at around 1:10 p.m. when he narrowly rushed past several passers-by.

When he saw a patrol car on Antonistrasse a quarter of an hour later, the scooter driver fled at excessive speed along Ostenstrasse towards the city center.

Drivers were only able to avoid a collision by slowing down significantly.

No one managed to stop the hooligan - so his wild ride continued.

Thanks to the help of witnesses, the police were later able to find the scooter driver at the market square.

However, his vehicle suddenly disappeared without a trace.

Despite an intensive search, the officers were unable to find the scooter.

The 22-year-old from Eichstätter was not only heavily drunk, but was also under the influence of drugs.
