The Medical Corps inaugurates the new Center for Mental Health Services.

The new services for soldiers will include the permanent family center and the combat response unit and a post-trauma treatment clinic for regular servicemen.

In addition, the center will be joined by the 'Liat' unit - a unit consisting of citizenship therapists who will provide an available and high-quality response in emotional care for permanent employees in the first and second permanent year.

So far, about 85% of the fighters who needed treatment in the combat response unit have returned to combat.



Since the beginning of the war, the mental health system of the medical corps has operated a network of professionals deployed in all sectors, with the aim of giving the best response to the forces in the field of mental health.

During the fighting, dozens of military personnel entered the Gaza Strip in order to provide an initial response to fighters who experienced complex events of various types, at the request of the commanders. In addition, a 24/7 telephone call center was opened as part of an emergency medical center.
