The second edition of Key opened today at the Rimini Fair, the expo of renewable energy sources, born last year as a spinoff of the Ecomondo fair of the green economy.
The 2024 edition records a 30% increase in exhibitors compared to the previous year, rising to 800.
35% come from abroad.
300 frabuyers and international delegations from 57 countries are also present at the expo.
The presence of the Chinese is very strong, at the forefront of photovoltaics.
"We must place Italian genius in the most innovative system of producing energy, renewables - said the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, at the inauguration of the expo this morning -. We have centrality in the Mediterranean, we have the sun and the wind, we have the water to produce hydrogen. And while yesterday the energy, the gas, came from the north, today the energy comes from the south. And we are the place of transit".
