She couldn't help herself, and even the emergency room failed: only the fire department could help a Munich woman out of the mess.
Munich - The fire brigade's operation was over after about 30 minutes.
And this may be one of the strangest of the emergency services.
A woman (36) went to an emergency room in Munich on Tuesday evening (February 27th).
The reason: an index finger that was trapped in a hand blender and she couldn't free it on her own
The woman from Munich goes to the emergency room because the situation is hopeless - then the fire department has to be called
Then we realized on site: usual methods don't help.
Therefore, the hospital staff had to call the fire department for help to free the finger.
The crew of an emergency fire engine finally managed to release the entrapment using precision mechanical tools, according to the fire department in its official report. To do this, they dismantled the hand blender and severed the drive shaft and the umbrella.
The woman was then able to go home again.
