The Civil Guard is investigating the discovery on Tuesday night of the bodies of three men of Colombian nationality who had gunshot wounds inside a car in an area near the district of El Saler, in Valencia, in Gola de Pujol, an opening to the sea of the Albufera lake.
It is a place with hardly any traffic, traveled by the few residents of the area or by visitors to the natural park.
The Colombian press suggests that one of the deceased belongs to the so-called Vega Daza clan of Barranquilla (Colombia) and that he was the survivor of a massacre in which a rival gang shot dead his father and two of his brothers.
The Civil Guard has not officially confirmed this.
According to the Valencia Civil Guard Command, around 9:45 p.m. it was learned that a Volkswagen Passat vehicle was seen in the Gola de Pujol area “with several bodies in a strange position” inside.

points out that one of the deceased is Roberto Carlos Vega Daza, from the so-called Vega clan, who escaped from the country after a shooting in June 2023 in Villa Campestre, in the Puerto Colombia area of Barranquilla.
Rafael Vega Cuello and his two sons Ronald and Ray de Jesús Vega Daza were murdered there, while supposedly one of those now dead in El Saler managed to escape, although wounded in the leg.
The newspaper states that he had saved his life on three previous occasions when he was shot.

The agents deployed to the area, both from the Civil Guard and the Local Police, were able to verify that the bodies of three adult men were found in the car, all of them suffering from bullet wounds.
The Homicide Group of the Valencia Command has taken charge of the investigation of the crime.
Sources in the case believe they were ambushed during a drug transaction or merchandise theft.
Agents from the Criminalistics Laboratory and the judicial delegation have attended the scene of the events to proceed to the removal of bodies.
Behind this event there could be a possible settling of scores for a drug shipment, according to the first hypothesis of the investigation, cited by local media.
The port of Valencia is one of the main gateways for cocaine into Spain.
The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has indicated that the investigators have learned "from a testimony" that the three deceased are of Colombian nationality and that the autopsy on the bodies will be carried out shortly.
Sources from the Valencian Superior Court of Justice have told Efe that the judge who was on duty last night in Valencia, responsible for Investigative Court number 14, was the one who took charge of the case.
