Because the first announces a new quiz show with “Ask me something easier!”, there is great displeasure: many ARD viewers find the program not varied enough.
Berlin – The numbers actually prove ARD right: with crime shows like “Tatort” or “Polizeiruf 110” as well as quiz and game shows like “Gefragt – Gejagt” or “Who knows something like that?”, they have been achieving considerable ratings success for years.
But for some people the television program with which the first maintains this course is too monotonous.
This can now also be seen in a new program with which the public broadcaster actually wanted to score points.
Program too monotonous?
With “Ask me something easier!” the first shows another quiz
From April 8th, the ARD afternoon program will feature “Ask me something easier!”, a quiz show with presenter Lea Wagner (29), who has also moderated the “Sportschau” on the first since 2021.
The show is scheduled for weekdays at 4:10 p.m. - a time slot that the station currently only fills with repeats of “Verkehrt nach Meer” and individual editions of “Hof Stories”.
Some people simply cannot understand the fact that ARD is now including another quiz in its program.
Once again, dissatisfaction with such a decision is clearly visible on social networks, such as Facebook.
There, many television viewers vent their anger in the comments of the show announcement by

: “Entertainment on ARD and ZDF: We can do crime and quizzes, nothing else,” complains one viewer, while another inquires in disbelief: “What?
Another quiz?”
“Ask me something easier!” with Lea Wagner
From April 8th, the first will show the first 28 episodes of “Ask me something easier!” every Monday to Friday at 4:10 p.m.
The idea is very simple: Instead of easy ones, the quiz starts with difficult questions and then gets easier and easier.
The prominent guessing team is made up of the chief spokesman for the “Tagesschau” Jens Riewa (60), the “Brisant” presenter Marwa Eldessouky (42) and the knowledge expert Ralph Caspers (52) from the “Sendung mit der Maus”.
The three opponents can be families, colleagues, friends or students.
Viewers are already sure: “Ask me something easier!” will be a ratings flop
“Ask me something easier!” obviously doesn’t count on great chances.
A Facebook user reveals: “I was there as a spectator at a recording for it in Hamburg.
I don't necessarily have to watch the show on TV.
Guess it won't last long." Others also agree with this prediction: "Let's see when the quiz show is buried" or "Almost no one wants to see that anymore," say other comments.

It remains questionable whether the criticism and the desire for more variety in ARD's entertainment program reaches those responsible.
Some viewers will probably give “Ask me something easier!” a chance in the end - and thus possibly ensure that the program is even extended despite initial criticism.
The private broadcasters are also repeatedly targeted: Many RTL viewers cannot understand why RTL is pushing Anna Ermakova (23) so much.
