“Tatort” star Harald Krassnitzer tells the story: Although the actor is celebrating his 25th crime anniversary, he can’t be very happy about the anniversary.

Cologne – The “crime scene” has long been part of the cultural heritage of German television and attracts millions of viewers to their screens every week – a scene from the Sunday crime thriller is currently causing a sensation.

Actor Harald Krassnitzer (63) has been working as “Tatort” detective Moritz Eisner for 25 years now.

Together with his colleague Bibi Fellner (Adele Neuhauser, 65), he solves the tricky cases himself.

However, Harald Krassnitzer thinks very little of all the anniversaries that the cult show celebrates.

“Tatort” commissioner Harald Krassnitzer finds the 25th anniversary unnecessary

25 years of Viennese “crime scene” investigators – an anniversary that should actually be celebrated.

But actor Harald Krassnitzer is not in the party mood at all, as he openly admits in “Kölner Treff”.

"I think nothing of it.

It feels like we've been constantly having to celebrate something at 'Tatort' for ten years - because every year there's an anniversary somewhere," explains the cult actor in the talk show.

For him, his own anniversary has little meaning: “We don’t actually celebrate it.

I can't do much with it.

25 years sounds so long, but actually there are only two 'crime scenes' per year.

It happens so quickly!” Krassnitzer is much more happy about the team meetings than a big anniversary.

“Tatort” with Inspector Eisner: Actor Harald Krassnitzer loves being in front of the camera

Harald Krassnitzer finds it difficult to imagine a life outside of the scripts.

The fun of acting is too great: “It’s like a class reunion and you look forward to it,” the “Tatort” detective continued on the talk show.

He prefers to live in the moment and look forward to future projects rather than looking back.

Even after 25 years of “Tatort,” Krassnitzer still hasn’t had enough: “You actually don’t get bored.

I think that's also something that defines the job.

Everything else is like a side effect that I like to take with me, but sometimes I don’t understand.”

“Tatort” anniversary by Harald Krassnitzer – This is how hard the next case will be for Commissioner Eisner

The “Tatort” case on the 25th anniversary will be tough for Commissioner Moritz Eisner.

In the episode “Your Loss,” which will be broadcast on Das Erste on March 10, the inspector has little to laugh about.

After a night of drinking, the inspector wakes up with a complete film tear.

In the new Austrian “crime scene,” investigator Eisner’s world collapses: he finds himself in a prison cell with a heavy head!

The inspector comes under suspicion of murder and wants to prove his innocence.

Even in these difficult times, colleague Bibi Fellner doesn't leave his side.

By the way: That's why there's no “Tatort” on ARD on Sunday evenings.
