They were what the criminals did to steal a 45-year-old man's motorcycle and
murder him in front of his children
, this Thursday morning in the Yofre Norte neighborhood, in
Córdoba
.
The event, which shocked the neighborhood, has witnesses and heartbreaking accounts of what happened.
“I have two children, please don't kill me
. ”
The desperate plea was made by Sebastián Villarreal when he was approached by two motorcycle jets.
However,
they shot him twice to steal his motorcycle
.
They killed him in cold blood.
It all happened in a few seconds, in front of his children.
The violent action occurred minutes before 6 in the morning, when the victim was leaving for work.
One of the shots hit the chest and caused Sebastián to fall to the floor.
"Please dad, don't give up. Hold on a little longer
," was the desperate request amidst the cries of one of his children who managed to hold his father's hand tightly while he was dying.
The scene, described by a neighbor who witnessed what happened, is heartbreaking.
“I was about to get up, and I heard there were noises in the street.
It was Sebastián who asked that they not kill him because he had children.
It was traumatic," the neighbor admits.
In a conversation with Radio Miter de Córdoba, the neighbor gave details of what happened during the tragic morning of this Thursday: "I was knocking on the window, to scare them away... and two shots were heard. We went out and Sebastián was lying on the floor, with few signs of life,” he continued.
“He was an excellent person, a worker and a father
,” said the woman, almost on the verge of tears.
And, according to her story, the criminals
fled with the motorcycle
while her neighbor was left lying on the ground.
“He still had his helmet on and we couldn't see where he was injured,” Fanny L., another neighbor, added with her testimony in a conversation with channel 10. “He was 45 years old and had two young children.
The boys were next to him when he was injured.
They asked him to please not give up,” she added.
"When I approached, another neighbor had already reached the body before and turned it on its side because a lot of blood was coming out of its mouth. The most heartbreaking thing was seeing her children in that situation... it was horrible," he concluded.
Police sources confirmed that the 45-year-old man was killed by a gunshot to the chest when he was assaulted by criminals who stole his motorcycle.
As detailed, the event happened in Fulgencio Montemayor at 2300.
