Relaxation and social criticism are not opposites for the Weilheim reggae band “Ska-Jah”, which gave its farewell concert in 2000 - but has long been back.

In its original line-up, the band, which has recorded six CDs to date, gave its farewell concert at Weilheim's Rock Night in 2000, as singer-songwriter Hansi Rohm went to Berlin for a few years.

But “Ska-Jah” has been performing regularly again since 2009 – and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

“Ska-Jah” live in concert

To mark the 30th anniversary of “Ska-Jah”, four concert dates have already been set in the region in the coming months: On Friday, March 1st, the band will play in the Huglfinger music bar Waldstraße 4 (admission from 8 p.m., concert starts around 9 p.m Clock).

Further performances follow on April 19th at the “Trödler” Habach (with “Oansno” from Munich), on May 4th at the “Tutzinger Keller” in Tutzing and on June 15th at the 1st Music Night in Herrsching.
