Between Röhrmoos and Schönbrunn, a bus driver was noticed because of his unsafe driving style: he was heavily intoxicated.
Dachau - A road user reported a bus driving abnormally between Röhrmoos and Schönbrunn in the direction of Hebertshausen to the police on Wednesday around 1:10 p.m.
Police patrol stops the bus driver near Lotzbach
A patrol was able to stop the bus, which had no passengers, near the Lotzbach roundabout to check traffic.
The reason for the unusual driving style was quickly identified.
The 37-year-old, who works for a bus company, was clearly intoxicated; a breath alcohol test showed a level of more than 3 per thousand, according to the police.
Therefore, a blood sample was taken from the bus driver and his driver's license was confiscated.
The bus was then taken over by a replacement driver.
Criminal proceedings were initiated against the 37-year-old for drunk driving.
