Far from facing a bad reception, Perpette's clients simply encounter the scenario that they themselves have chosen to experience: an immersive bar replica of an American prison.
In this new spot opened at the beginning of February in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, there is a dark facade that reveals nothing of the place hidden behind it.
Once through the front door, the guards lead the prisoners for one evening to their cell, dressed in American series codes.
In Perpette, no reference to the French prison world but more to that of “Orange is the new black” coupled with “Prison Break”.
