No doubt they would have thought, and hoped, to bring out their diary in other circumstances.
But these notes taken when they were not twenty years old can perhaps be used today in the work of justice.

After the “Additional investigation” into Gérard Depardieu which caused a stir in December 2023, “Special Envoy” in turn takes up another case, the one which implicates Gérard Miller.
An investigation carried out promptly since the first testimonies, relayed in Elle
magazine
, date from the end of January.
Others were added immediately, still in

then in Mediapart.
In all, around fifty women, making more or less serious accusations, criticized the psychoanalyst's behavior.
“Special Envoy” identified ten complaints.
Several of them, filed by women who were minors at the time of the facts, may not be time-barred.

Loss of control
In the newspapers as in the France 2 magazine, the alleged victims describe the same modus operandi.
When they did not contact him themselves for school work, it was the psychoanalyst who made contact with them.
Often after a television show.
He offered them, they claim, hypnosis sessions.
An appointment was made in his Parisian home - “Special Envoy” could have avoided providing information on his location.
Gérard Miller quickly began a massage.
The witnesses recount the ambiguity created, not only by the notoriety of their interlocutor, but also by his position as a therapist.
“For me, it was the doctor’s hands that touched me, not those of the pervert
,” Romane reads in her diary.
“I was impressed by his aura, his knowledge
,” she added twenty years later.
There was therefore a form of
“dissymmetry”
, to use the words of Gérard Miller himself.
The psychoanalyst, who through his profession could not pretend to ignore it anyway, recognized the existence of an
“unequal relationship”
at the end of January.
While ensuring that they have never gone beyond their consent.
The “We Tried Everything” Era
A preliminary investigation was opened on February 23 for facts
“likely to be qualified as rape and sexual assault, sometimes against minor victims”
.
The police will undoubtedly have to take an interest in hypnosis, which is at the heart of this affair.
This technique, popular with therapists, the magazine verifies with a specialist, is likely to lead to a certain loss of control.
