The Grand Paris Nord hospital continues to be talked about.
While the relaunched public inquiry in Seine-Saint-Denis will end on Monday March 4, several unions and elected officials gathered in front of Bichat hospital to reiterate their opposition to the project announced in 2013 by the then President of the Republic, Francois Hollande.
In October, the Paris Administrative Court of Appeal recognized the public utility nature of the project carried out by AP-HP, while recognizing a procedural defect.
Around a hundred opponents made themselves heard this Thursday, February 29 morning.
In unison with criticism of “sick factories”, Simon Chiaroni, general secretary of the CGT union in Bichat, asks: “Why build a hospital bigger than the Stade de France in a saturated city like Saint-Ouen?
The provision of care will be considerably reduced.”
