The investigation into manslaughter continues after the death of young Myriam, 14, found lifeless in a studio in Fontainebleau.
She had run away from the Delaunoy home, part of the Social Support and Intervention System (DAIS) managed by ADSEA 77 (Departmental Association for the Protection of Children and Adolescents), in Melun.
“The two young girls who had alerted the emergency services and with whom Myriam had spent the weekend were placed in police custody on Sunday evening, then presented on Tuesday to an investigating judge and indicted.
The occupant of the studio was placed under judicial supervision, the other who is homeless (without a fixed address) and without any guarantee of representation was placed in pre-trial detention,” says the public prosecutor of Fontainebleau, Arnaud Faugère.
