To continue to carry out the energy requalification of buildings in Italy after the end of the 110% Superbonus, "existing tools, tax deductions and the thermal account can be used, first remodulating them and opening the thermal account also to requalification in the private sector".
Dario Di Santo, vice-president of the Free Coordination for the promotion of renewables and energy efficiency, told ANSA at the Key renewables fair in Rimini.
For Di Santo it is necessary to "make dedicated lines available to those who are in conditions of economic hardship, and cannot take advantage of any incentives, and try to overcome the financial barrier, i.e. having to advance all the expenses to be incurred, with a new scheme that is at the same time a guarantee fund and an interest account fund. The idea is that the guarantee fund can help those with weaker creditworthiness in favoring bank financing, and the interest account can generate strong leverage, covering part of the interest that has grown" .
"Obviously - continued Di Santo - we would like the transfer of credit to remain for those who still have difficulty in accessing financing. In our opinion, with the simulations we have done, it is possible to maintain a base of restructuring, and then restart the scheme, with a much more sustainable use of resources than the Superbonus and with the advantage of putting private capital into motion".
